Dear Residents and Family Members:

The purpose of this letter is to communicate updates regarding our covid-19 reporting and the actions we continue to take to combat and protect our community.
As of today, we have 4 residents that have tested positive with Covid-19.
Three of these residents, who tested positive in mid-April, are doing very well. We expect to have these three residents off isolation precautions by the end of this week. All three had experienced mild symptoms since their testing.
Our 4th and most recent resident was diagnosed on Saturday, 4/25. This resident has been on isolation precautions prior to testing for other symptomatic reasons. This resident was moved to our sub-acute wing and into a private room on Friday in anticipation of testing.
In early April we decided to implement isolation precautions on most all new on-set symptoms. We believe we are in a time when we can not be too overly cautious in protecting our community. Resident and staff safety are our top priority.
We have had two employees test positive in recent weeks. One staff member has returned to work after symptoms resolved and their primary care physician cleared them to return to work. One staff member remains at home until symptoms clear.
We continue to exceed our staff levels throughout the facility to meet the needs of our community.
You can be proud of the staff at Hanover Hall and be assured that all our staff continue to report to work and perform with excellence.
I know this continues to be a difficult time for everyone. We will continue to update you, as quickly as possible, with any updates and/or changes to our current situation.
Please know we continue to strictly adhere to all directives from the local and state health departments as well as the CDC.
We appreciate your continued prayers and trust in the care and services we provide and for your understanding and support of any necessary adjustments as this situation evolves.
Please feel free to contact me at 717-633-4520 with any questions or concerns.
May God bless us all.

Respectfully,

Daniel Pyle, NHA
Administrator, Hanover Hall

  1. Thank you for all the work that the staff and administration are doing for our loved ones.
We know it is not an easy task. To say Thank you doesn't begin to address how much you are appreciated at such a difficult time in our lives.

God bless you and we pray for everyone's safety in the facility.
