Dear Residents and Family Members:


We tested 3 residents on Thursday, 5/7, for Covid.


Late Friday, 5/8, test results were obtained.

One positive. Resident was moved to SA unit on Friday while awaiting results.
Two negative results. These two residents who tested negative will remain on transmission-based precautions until symptoms resolve.

As of Sunday, May 10:

We have two residents diagnosed with Covid-19.
One was admitted to Hanover UPMC on Friday, 5/8.
One remains at Hanover Hall with mild symptoms.

Since the start of this pandemic, the facility has experienced;

  •  3 residents recover from Covid
  •  2 residents expire due to complications of pneumonia related to covid
    • One resident who passed on April 30th at Hanover UPMC.
    • One resident who passed on Friday, 5/8, at the facility.


Please know we continue to strictly adhere to all directives from the local and state health departments as well as the CDC.
