Dear Residents and Family Members: The purpose of this letter is to communicate updates regarding our covid-19 reporting and the actions we continue to take to combat and protect our community. As of today, we have 4 residents that have tested positive with Covid-19. Three of these residents, who tested positive in mid-April, are doing very well. We expect to have these three residents off isolation precautions by the end of this week. All three had experienced mild symptoms since their testing. Our 4 th and most recent resident was diagnosed on Saturday, 4/25. This resident has been on isolation precautions prior to testing for other symptomatic reasons. This resident was moved to our sub-acute wing and into a private room on Friday in anticipation of testing. In early April we decided to implement isolation precautions on most all new on-set symptoms. We believe we are in a time when we can not be too overly cautious in protecting our community. Dear Residents and Family Members: I am informing you that on 4/16/20, we received confirmation that two residents have been diagnosed with Covid-19. We will contact you if your family member is suspected or diagnosed with Covid-19. Resident safety is our top priority. These residents were already on isolation/transmission-based precautions prior to testing. We are working with the Department of Health and are following all recommended precautions and reporting protocols. I know this is a difficult time for everyone. We will continue to update you, as quickly as possible, with any updates and/or changes to our current situation. Please know we are strictly adhering to all directives from the local and state health departments as well as the CDC.
